What To Expect
The Engineering team is looking for highly motivated entry level Engineering Technicians to support accelerated product durability testing. This role is very hands-on; Technicians personally assemble and disassemble vehicle components (e.g., door latches, struts, trunk, hood), build test fixtures, and execute tests. A successful candidate for this role must have a passion to learn and develop new skills. All team members collaborate to develop and implement effective solutions quickly. Flexible scheduling may be accommodated.
What You'll Do
Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofitsDocument and report issues identified during tests or inspectionsCollaborate with Engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discoveredSupport Engineers in instrumentation and data acquisitionAssist and learn from other Technicians and EngineersAssemble & wire test fixtures
What You'll Bring
Excellent written & verbal communication skillsAttention to details with strong organization skillsAnalytical problem-solving skills with a desire for professional developmentBasic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word)Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches, calipers, DAQ's)Experience with fabrication equipment (drills, Band Saw)Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systemsUnderstanding of Ohms law, Kirchhoff's lawsAbility to read wiring diagrams, and CAN communicationExperience working with low voltage components

Expected Compensation
$24.00 - $65.00/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
