Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist in the Assembly department is responsible for work associated with keeping track of goods and services for all types of business processes applicable to the organization including computers, chargers, scanners, and other goods. The Specialist will provide organizational related support in a “hands on” environment in support of daily business activities. Additionally, the Specialist’s work depends heavily on strong computer skills while gaining knowledge of a variety of new computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Moreover, the Specialist must be self-motivated, and must have excellent time management skills.
Essential Duties
- Oversee inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed in accordance to company policy
- Investigate discrepancies in reported quantities (recounts may be required)
- Coordinate with production for cycle counts
- Implement inventory control systems
- Forecast material emergencies before they arise
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Provide input on process improvement opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a requirement for some roles at PENA and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Education
- Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: None
Essential Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability and proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data
- Self-starter who works well independently with outstanding ability to follow up with minimal direction by seeking answers and a focus on team success
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities
- A strong work ethic with a “get the job done” approach
- Collaborative nature with strong team building skills and willing to learn from and accept guidance from others
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RF scanners
- Experience working with inventory
