The Supplier Industrialization Engineer Manfufacturing line set up is a key role responsible for designing automation lines with automation line equipment suppliers thus driving efficiency and cost reduction in manufacturing processes. This expert will critically assess production line assembly concepts, ensuring suppliers are not overcharging in RFQs, and collaborate with equipment integrators to implement cutting-edge solutions that reduce cycle time and labor dependency.
What You'll Do
Production Line Optimization: Conduct in-depth reviews of production line assembly concepts in RFQs, identifying opportunities to automate and optimize labor-intensive processes, and preventing supplier overchargingCollaboration with Integrators: Partner closely with equipment integrators to design and refine assembly lines, tooling, fixtures, and gauges, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectivenessAutomation Implementation: Lead efforts to identify and integrate automation solutions, significantly reducing reliance on manual labor and enhancing overall production efficiencyCost Reduction: Drive substantial cost savings by ensuring accurate RFQ assessments, optimizing tooling and processes, and eliminating unnecessary expensesAdvanced CAD Review: Utilize SolidWorks, Catia to rigorously review and enhance line designs, CAD models, and simulations, ensuring they meet stringent cost and efficiency standardsManufacturing Expertise: Leverage deep expertise in manufacturing processes and cost structures to inform decisions that improve productivity and reduce costsAnalytical Excellence: Apply sharp analytical skills to uncover cost-saving opportunities, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experienceExtensive experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Catia, UGNX) and automation technologies. Able to design fixtures, stations in CAD - Catia, solidworksStrong expertise in manufacturing processes, assembly line design, and cost managementProven ability to collaborate effectively with equipment integrators and optimize production line tools and systemsExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilitiesIndependent and proactive, with strong team collaboration skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $300,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
