Role SummaryAs a (FP&A) Analyst in Rivian’s Serbia Shared Service Team, you will be a key member of our finance department, responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. You will work closely with various teams to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and help ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities- Financial Planning & Forecasting:
- Support recurring reporting responsibilities, related to maintaining and updating the company financial plan
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and financial summaries, for finance partners and company executives
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Accruals & Purchase Order (PO) Approvals:
- Execute and improve on many aspects of the accruals process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Review and approve purchase orders (POs) to ensure compliance with budget and financial guidelines
- Assist purchasers with proper PO etiquette to ensure a smooth purchasing process
- Headcount tracking & Hiring Approvals
- Maintain a master tracker of headcount transfers to ensure adherence to budget, even when budgets are being exchanged
- Play a critical checking role in the hiring process by ensuring new requisitions are within budget
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
- Utilize financial systems and tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
Qualifications- ’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software such as SAP or Oracle Hyperion is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
