Job Summary:
As an Inventory Clerk, you will help ensure Electric Era’s supply chain runs smoothly by maintaining accurate records of all inventory-related activities. This position involves overseeing the flow of components in and out of inventory, ensuring that the physical count of items matches the records, and managing inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
You will work closely with sales, engineering, implementation, and production teams to coordinate orders, manage returns, and handle discrepancies that arise between physical inventory and recorded data.
This role requires strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management and is a strategic, detail-oriented professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place purchase orders to match forecasted demand and production timelines
- Monitor and track purchase orders, resolving any issues or delays promptly
- Receive and inspect purchase orders upon delivery
- Manage any order variances and returns
- Prepare inventory kits for the production team
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and generate reports as required by key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment
