The Business Development Program Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing key strategic initiatives focused on business growth, including the identification and management of grants, RFP , RFQ , and other funding opportunities. This role combines program management, partnership development, and strategic business development efforts to help the organization expand its market presence and achieve its financial goals.

Lead and manage the development and execution of business development programs, ensuring they align with the company's growth strategy. Monitor program timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring resources are allocated effectively - Grants Management{{:}}
Identify, pursue, and manage grant opportunities from government, nonprofit, and private organizations. Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals while ensuring compliance with grant guidelines. Track and report on grant performance and maintain relationships with funders - RFP and RFQ Management{{:}}

Lead the process of responding to RFPs from clients and partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, write, and submit proposals that meet client needs and align with business objectives - RFQ Management{{:}}
Manage the RFQ process, including preparing detailed quotations for potential clients. Ensure accuracy in pricing, terms, and conditions, and facilitate negotiations to secure business contracts

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategies that support market expansion, new partnerships, and revenue growth. Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify potential business opportunities - Partnership Development{{:}}
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, industry leaders, and funding bodies. Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships and alliances to support business goals - Cross-Functional Collaboration{{:}}
Work closely with internal departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and product development to support business development efforts and ensure alignment with company objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to drive successful outcomes - Market Research and Analysis{{:}}
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and competitive advantages. Analyze data to inform business decisions and adjust strategies as needed to capitalize on emerging trends - Performance Metrics and Reporting{{:}}
Develop and track performance metrics for business development programs, grants, and RFP/RFQ submissions. Provide leadership with regular reports and insights on program success, challenges, and areas for improvement - Compliance and Risk Management{{:}}
Ensure all grant proposals, RFPs, and RFQs comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies. Identify and mitigate risks that could impact business development initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications{{:}}
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in business development, grants management, RFP/RFQ management, or program management
- Proven track record of securing grants, responding to RFPs, and managing RFQs successfully
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in grant writing, proposal development, and pricing strategies
- Experience with CRM systems, grant management software, and project management tools

- Experience in industries such as technology, healthcare, or government contracting
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local grant and funding programs
