PowerFlex is seeking an Account Executive with focus in Turnkey EV Solutions. This role will be responsible for joining a team of business developers who are selling Electric Vehicle Charging solutions, with a primary focus on turnkey solutions on the East Coast.
LocationThis role is open to be 100% remote or a hybrid role out our New York, NY, office. This role will be supporting accounts in the North East region of the US so applicants need to be based on the East Coast or Mid-West regions of the United States.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and close key strategic deals and accounts for EV Solutions.
Establish key top of funnel prospecting initiatives to support all team member sales success
Help to Expand team into new markets
Help to Determine which EVSE markets have the most potential for long-term value creation for PowerFlex, with analytical support from the Business Development Analysts team
Incentive programs: monitor relevant incentives and prioritize areas where PowerFlex has highest chance to succeed
Analyze PowerFlex's current and future customer base to determine which segments have most potential for PowerFlex, taking into account PowerFlex’s differentiators and existing customer relations
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degrees preferred
7+ years of Business Development, Sales, Finance or Project Development experience with at least 2 years in the solar/renewable/EV energy industry
Prior Business Development leadership experience and commercial solar project sales experience
Strong consultation, communication, negotiation, presentation and writing skills
Firm understanding of national EV policies, utility incentives and state incentives broadly across U.S.
Ability to structure and guide the development of multi-site, multi-market project portfolios
Salesforce experience and ability create reports and dashboards, and synthesize large amounts of data into comprehensive narratives
Ability to provide critical feedback to team members while being a motivating force and educator
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (under normal travel conditions)

CompensationThe pay range for this position is $115,000 - $192,000 annually. This position is eligible for PowerFlex's comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable). PowerFlex's compensation packages carefully consider a candidate's qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.
Physical RequirementsRemaining in a seated position. Long hours on the computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Working ConditionsPrimarily office working environment, utilizing computers, phones, and general office equipment is central to the role, but rare field visits may be needed which requires standing, walking, and being able to document existing conditions.
