The TeleOperations team at Zoox ensures our autonomous vehicle completes missions by leveraging real-time remote human context to navigate complex scenarios. We are a multi-faceted team responsible for feature product development and structured testing, and we serve as the operations link between operations and software departments. You will be working closely with leaders within the Fleet Operations organization and assisting and interacting with multiple teams across the company, including TeleGuidance, PMO, User Experience, and Product. You are a disciplined team player who believes in doing everything necessary to accomplish the mission safely.
As a TeleOperations Shift Lead, you will lead a team of tacticians (remote operators) to ensure they understand and execute both short—and long-term targets. You will be hands-on with your team, working with and alongside them daily, leading by example to ensure all software and hardware tests are executed to Zoox’s high standards. You will be the field expert for tools, features, and functions related to TeleOps workflows, coordinating and streamlining processes supporting Fleet Operations at Zoox.
This is a 2nd shift role, working from 3pm - 12am Wednesday - Sunday.
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $76,000 to $96,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
