What To Expect
You will be a key member of the Industrial Energy Growth & Marketing team, which focuses on sales enablement for Tesla’s B2B energy products: Powerpack & Megapack. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing internal and external global communications strategy, including press releases, social media (X and LinkedIn), and internal communications, as well as supporting the execution of speaking engagements.
This is a multi-faceted role where knowledge of clean energy technologies and working experience in the energy industry is highly desired. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator (both written and verbal), is organized with attention to detail, highly creative, a strong collaborator and can turn challenges into growth opportunities. They should have a proven ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders and to create structure in ambiguous situations.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute global communications strategy, including press releases in coordination with customers and internal stakeholders, highlighting key company milestones, product launches, and customer successesLead internal communication programs including developing internal company newsletters and supporting the creation of Impact Reports and Investor reportsManage social media accounts, including X and LinkedIn, to engage with our B2B audience, share relevant industry news, promote company initiatives, and foster community interactionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies aligned with company objectives and industry trendsCultivate relationships with customers to gather testimonials, case studies, and success stories for use in communications materials and press releasesDrive external engagement including monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for proactive communicationMeasure and analyze the effectiveness of communications initiatives, utilizing metrics and analytics to refine strategies and optimize engagement across channels
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field or 5+ years experience in a communications role, preferably within the energy industry or B2B sectorExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in storytellingStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with both analytical and creative teamsStrong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for engagement and audience growthCreative thinking and strategic mindset, with a passion for driving brand awareness and reputationThrives in fast-paced environment with a bias towards actionDeep passion for changing the way we use energy on the electric grid

Expected Compensation
$64,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
