Product Positioning & Marketing Strategy
-Define product positioning, core selling points and formulate marketing strategies for the Malaysian market.
-Conduct in-depth analysis on local consumer demands, market trends and competitive landscape to support product planning and business decision-making.
-Develop target customer profiles, product differentiation strategies and competitive solutions.
Market Research & Product Launch Strategy
-Conduct comprehensive research on Malaysia’s automotive market, covering consumer demands, segment trends, competing models, price ranges and market opportunities.
-Formulate vehicle introduction strategies and product portfolio plans based on local market conditions, policies and user preferences.
-Participate in feasibility analysis for new model launches, including market volume assessment, competition analysis, target user profiling and sales volume forecasting.
-Assist headquarters in developing the local Product Roadmap and phased product layout strategies.
-Continuously optimize product launch timeline and go-to-market strategies based on market feedback and sales data.
Pricing & SKU Management
-Participate in formulating product pricing strategies for Malaysia, and propose pricing proposals considering market competition, brand positioning, taxation and cost factors.
-Analyze competitors’ pricing systems, promotion policies and configuration strategies to enhance product competitiveness and profitability.
-Plan and optimize vehicle SKUs, including powertrain variants, configuration packages, color schemes and optional equipment.
-Develop differentiated configuration strategies tailored to regional markets and consumer groups.
-Collaborate with sales, supply chain and operation teams to streamline SKU structure, improve inventory turnover and market adaptability.
New Model Launch Management
-Plan and execute new vehicle launch projects in the Malaysian market.
-Coordinate with headquarters, sales, marketing, training and dealer teams to ensure smooth launch preparation.
-Define launch schedule, communication plans, product training and on-site implementation plans.
-Support launch events, media test drives, auto shows, roadshows and other marketing activities.
Competitor Analysis & Market Intelligence
-Continuously monitor local automotive market dynamics, including competitors’ products, pricing, campaigns and market share changes.
-Regularly deliver competitor analysis reports, market insights and product competitiveness evaluations to inform product
职位要求:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering or related disciplines is preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in automotive product marketing, product planning or relevant fields.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysia’s automotive market, consumer habits and competitive landscape.
- Proven experience in new model launch, product import planning and cross-functional project management.
- Strong capabilities in market analysis, competitor research, product pricing and SKU strategic planning.
- Excellent data analysis skills and sharp business acumen.
- Outstanding communication, project driving and cross-departmental coordination abilities.
- Fluent in English for daily work; Malay language proficiency is a plus.
- Available for domestic and overseas business trips based in Malaysia.
