The Vehicle Operations team at Tesla are working to investigate and implement systems and processes that enable our global teams to drive action towards quality improvement, cost reduction, and build synergies across our global operations. Our small but fast-growing team are looking for a results-driven Data Analyst to help us drive insights and build reporting tools to support our project pipeline.

What You'll Do
Data Analysis: Utilize your strong analytical skills to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover valuable insights and trendsData Visualization: Create compelling and informative data visualizations using Tableau to help stakeholders understand complex data and make informed decisionsWorkflow Automation: Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow to automate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processesSQL Expertise: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrityCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, gather data-related needs, and provide data-driven solutionsReporting: Generate and distribute regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insightsQuality Assurance: Ensure data quality by conducting thorough data validation and implementing data cleansing processesContinuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance data analysis processes
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional abilityProven experience as a Data Analyst, with at least 5 - 10 years of experienceProficiency in Python for data analysis and scriptingAdvanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulationExperience with Apache Airflow preferredExpertise in data visualization tools, particularly TableauExceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentProactive and self-motivated with a passion for data analysis
