What To Expect
Tesla is looking for a Finished Vehicle Logistics Manager to lead multiple teams responsible for Railroad, 3PL2, and ad hoc vehicle shipments. The role comes with large ongoing responsibilities of everything from long term efficiency improvements to short term crisis management. This role is onsite in either Fremont, CA or Austin, TX - with some required travel about 20% of the time.
What You'll Do
Directly lead multiple logistics teams managing different aspects of Finished Vehicle Logistics, from overseeing various shipment groups (rail, 3PL trucking, ad-hoc), logistics site management, and driving KPIs for a team of 15+ peopleWe are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to create long term roadmaps & best practices, while also being able to handle day to day critical issues“Dotted line” leadership and collaboration is a must, with an emphasis on not only what you can accomplish, but how you accomplish goals in a team-oriented fashionDirect leadership experience, ideally for a comparably sized logistics operationSignificant knowledge and experience about all things logistics relatedDemonstrated success driving continuous improvements in a large, complex organization

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $210,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
