What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and deeply process oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing production Logistics Team. In the Logistics Coordinator role, you will manage critical domestic and international shipments to support Tesla’s vehicle production and Just in Time (JIT) suppliers. You will gain invaluable experience about Tesla’s supply chain and understand our processes from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Coordinate shipping and receiving functions at factories and external yardsRetain and scan documentation, send communications to employeesSchedule pick-ups with vendors and monitor shipments in transitCoordinate most cost-effective means to ship freight within expected requirementsCorrectly labeling hazardous materials and providing DG paperwork to vendorsProvide all required shipping documentation (BOL’s, Ocean Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, etc.) for import and export functionsProcess and correct miscellaneous shipment cost issues
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's or Associate Degree or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional abilityProficient in Microsoft office suite. Excel critical to role, but not to hireExperience with International shipping (Commercial Invoices, AES filing)Dangerous goods trained or certified, preferred
Other requirements:
Must be able to stand and or sit 8-10 hours a dayMust be able to lift 20 lbs. with consistency every dayMust be willing to work in various weather conditions (for yard audits)

Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $47.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
