What To Expect
The Employee Content & Experience Manager is a hybrid role focused on helping employees connect to Tesla’s mission, culture, and business through the development of internal facing content and employee experiences. The position requires a high degree of ownership and will be responsible for managing elements of multiple employee programs as well as producing program specific content as part of the Infrastructure Workplace team for R&D sites mainly in the Bay Area, CA, with locations in North America. The Manager will help develop employee recognition, perks, wellbeing programs and events. This individual will also be responsible for all Workplace communication and content platforms including, but not limited to: Workplace Employee facing & internal SharePoint, Workplace Site Wide Communications, Workplace Quarterly Newsletter, Workplace Process & Procedure documentation, Executive updates, guidelines, and playbooks. Communications practices will be in partnership with cross functional organizations to ensure all aspects of operations are covered, managed, and communicated appropriately. What You'll Do
Supporting existing Employee Experience programs and assisting in the development and implementation of new, innovative initiatives to engage and connect employees. Identifying and driving process improvements for the operations of programs and events. Developing, editing, and designing content for a variety of internal sources and channels, including Executive updates. Implementing internal content plans and editorial calendar to support engagement. Reviewing content to ensure internal messages and tone are consistent across all mediums and align with company editorial voice. Interfacing and interacting with employees and leaders at all levels of the company. Collect, analyze, and report using surveys, data backed metrics, and key performance indicators to make recommendations and execute best practices for continual improvement. Preparing budget forecasts to report up to management on a regular basis, and utilizing proprietary internal software for issuing and managing purchase orders to ensure that the company is getting the best value. As a people leader, manage direct reports as applicable to develop their careers while at the same time as accomplishing company goals.
What You'll Bring
Minimum of 3+ years managing Employee Experience programs in a fast-paced corporate environment. Strong project management, event planning, problem-solving, budgeting, and communication skills. Experience launching and maintaining employee facing programs. Broad functional experience in areas of content development, change management, and human resources. Strong interpersonal skills with good judgment and experience conversing and presenting with a diverse range of individuals. Critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze complex information and develop strategic insights and recommendations. Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and analytical skills. Proven experience developing content and event calendars. Writing, editing, and coordinating production of internal content. Strong attention to detail and experience managing financial, confidential, or proprietary information. Ability to travel between campuses as needed. Preferred: Proficient with digital content tools including email platforms, content management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
