A dynamic and organized full-cycle Account Executive is being sought to contribute to bold growth objectives, aiding fleets in their efforts to reduce carbon emissions and achieve environmental sustainability milestones. This role plays a pivotal role as a primary ambassador to potential clients and guides existing clients toward repeat purchasing positions.
This is a full-time hybrid position with some travel requirements (up to 50%). The company, a fast-growing technology enterprise, requires all employees to be self-directed and adept at managing multiple responsibilities. The incumbent will generate opportunities with new customers, forecast sales activity, and achieve revenue targets, while fostering satisfied and reference-worthy customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in the Vector System, including benefits, applications, and the broader biodiesel market.
- Skillfully explain and present complex concepts in an easily understandable manner.
- Create and execute a strategy to promote the company to target customers.
- Foster relationships with fleet managers, biodiesel producers, and OEM managers throughout the sales cycle.
- Launch and assess new outbound lead generation channels, determining scaling strategies.
- Assume ownership over a long lead, educational sales cycle involving meaningful and enduring client relationships.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure seamless onboarding for new customers.
- Deliver confident presentations and product demonstrations with clear communication.
- Navigate intricate enterprise structures to align stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate to align internal resources and team members.
- Accurately report sales activity and forecasts to senior management.
- Identify and communicate market trends and product feedback.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or business development.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex sales processes across organizations.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and immerse oneself in the world of alternative energy and diesel vehicles.
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable with assuming ownership of workloads in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
- Enthusiasm for travel opportunities, with experience in transportation/fuel environments considered a plus.
- Strong sense of pride in delivering quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
