SUMMARY
We are seeking a Payment Processing Specialist to join our finance team. This entry-level role is responsible for managing outgoing payments, processing reimbursements, and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in financial processing.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Process and monitor outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle employee reimbursements, verifying compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and transaction logs.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment-related inquiries.
- Assist in reconciling payment discrepancies and ensuring proper documentation.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of payment processing systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks as needed.
- Handle ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial transactions and payment processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Concur, or similar systems).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
