EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time Field Service Technician for one of our partners that is leading the expansion of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. In this position, you will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on high-power EV charging systems while serving as the face of the company to clients in the field.
Responsibilities
- Execute diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on charging systems
- Perform commissioning and periodic maintenance interventions
- Work independently and collaboratively to maximize repair efficiency
- Document repairs thoroughly and consistently
- Provide feedback to the remote service and development teams
- Coordinate service interventions within assigned territory
Required Qualifications
- Technical certification or experience in electrical engineering
- Experience as electrician in low-voltage range (up to 1,000V)
- 2+ years support role in eMobility/EV charging industry
- Basic software and diagnostic skills
- Full stack IT infrastructure knowledge (hardware, software, network, telecommunications)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Windows, Excel, Word)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Professional communication abilities
- Experience working under time pressure
- Ability to manage urgent customer escalations
- Physical requirements: ability to lift 75lbs, repeated ladder climbing, stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport
- Flexibility for overtime work
- Willingness for domestic and international travel
