What To Expect
In this role, you will be responsible for operating lab to pilot-scale equipment and ensuring that experimental plans are executed efficiently. You will also handle raw materials, maintain equipment, produce in-spec products and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
What You'll Do
Process multiple kg scale of raw material and produce in-spec products daily for downstream processingWork with equipment vendors to keep equipment functional and minimize downtimeMaintain a clean and tidy chemical handling environmentSummarize operation data/findings to discuss with engineersDraft SOP/JHA for new equipment and revise/update old SOP/JHA for new processesManage chemical inventory/lab consumables
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Process, Mechanical, or equivalent experienceAbility to stand for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 50 poundsRequire to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time such as powered air purifying respirator (PAPR)Previous experience working in a hazardous chemical environment is a plusPrevious experience working in the lithium-ion battery field is a plusPrevious experience working with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a plusCommand of the English Language, both written and verbal
